if you wanna befriend someone the best way to do that is by either
1- find something that your both passionate about
2- teaching a skill to that person
3- learning a skill from that person
just make sure you break the professional attitude if your using 2 or 3
4- rob a bank (this will not help you befriend anyone, but it's a good conversation starter)
