Now that we have most of the dynamics worked out, it’s time to drop this release candidate build of One Night(s) at Freddy’s 3D Standard Edition for Mac.
First, the list of known issues:
1) You need to pick a resolution at the game’s launch, as it seems the engine isn’t detecting one correctly.
2) Older Mac Books WILL need to set “Sampling and Effects” to 1x:
Hold LEFT SHIFT and press 9 until you toggle to 1x.
3) Letterboxing: most Macs are not 16:9 and the game will need to letterbox to 16:9 using black bars
4) The black bars for letterboxing may contain random image data (Does not affect game, can be distracting a bit)
5) Some brightness levels may vary from the PC version
Then the list of fixes applied since the first build:
1) Pirate Cove cam now brightened
2) Bonnie texture types changed for the position behind the window; should now not be visible if lights not in use
3) Readme file with instructions now included in archive
What I’ll mainly need to know in this round is if you can see Bonnie when the lights are not being used. It shouldn’t be the case; I’m using a less “glowy” texture type for the at-window position.
Aside from that, the build should run nicely. Don’t forget to adjust the game so it performs well. Try different levels of Scaling & Effects settings by holding down LEFT SHIFT and pressing 9.
