One of my favorite moments in watching everyone play the demo so far is this silly little cricket : )

This morning, a brave soul in the Insectile Discord caught 100 grubs (squishy parsnips).

Because 3 kinds are planned and the upper limit is theoretically 2^63, it is possible to own 27 QUINTILLION parsnips.

...I probably need to program an upper limit : )

I'm no good with names, but it was surprisingly fun naming the creatures in my demo! And it has been even more fun seeing the players' reactions to the names. I can't wait to name many more for the full game!

(And maybe let players enter their own, too!)

4 pretty environments from my RPG about bugs!

Demo launch day was... mixed. In hindsight, launching on a Friday (a day I never post) was not my best move. But it ended on a high note! A ton of fun posts are coming up and more streamers are scheduled to play.
