New power being developed: Grenades!

Every X seconds, the car will toss a grenade into the air, exploding when it hits the ground and hitting all zombies inside a radius!

Some notes on the gifs above:

  • The explosion art is still a placeholder flat circle. I intend to do a proper explosion sprite in the future. I'm gonna resort to more WIP art in the next updates, so I can focus on developing the new powers.

  • The dead zombies scattered on the second gif are one of the frames from the "crawling" animation I showed before. I'm testing Construct's performance to see if I can leave the zombies dead on the ground, and, if so, how many of them. Looks cool, but I don't know if I'll be able to have this much objects. We'll see!

  • I'm using a hack so I don't die in order to record the grenade power, in case anyone's wondering why I don't die.

Here's what I'm thinking to celebrate the 1K followers milestone... the very first SOCK TOWN prototype!

It's heavily inspired by the Reigns game, but instead of being about being a king... it's about being the director of the "Sock Town" TV show!
