As I've said, War is coming is not over, not definitely, it's just been put aside, so here's what's new:
Radical change to battles:
Before this update, the defense parameter was nothing more than an alternative attack parameter. Sure, attacks and abilities took into account the enemies' defense, but there was little difference between an enemy with 100 defense points and one with 500.
Radical change to armors:
As a matter of fact, the formula of base attacks and abilities hasn't changed, but armors now no longer add extra HP, only defense points. To make an instance, an armor which once added 100 HP and 100 defense points, now simply adds 200 defense points. Makes the whole game more realistic too if you ask me.
Radical change to characters' base stats:
I've been exploring the lore of my own game (ridiculous, isn't it?) and realized some of their base stats didn't make that much of a sense. Same goes for enemies. So I changed some things up in order for the game to fit more with the game lore.
Changes to abilities:
By messing with base stats and defense, I noticed some things. "Shield bash" was way too op in late game when Amphion had like 600 defense points, so I debuffed its damage and added the fact it can ignore the target's defense. Same goes for late game Ingrid, who deals an insane amount of damage and if you were to make her a tank with the new way defense works, she'd be unstoppable. At least in the previous version. I turned "One-handed downward blow" into a special ability that consumes 90 instinct points, you'll have to work hard if you want to make her deal 1400 damage more than once per battle.
Small typo errors fixed (They never stop popping out of nowhere, I swear.)
That's it for War is coming. Moving onto The benefits of rationality, its story is in progress, despite still having several doubts about what I want to make. Of course, armors in the game work the same way they do in War is coming, but I decided not to release anything because it's a demo. Putting my creativity issues aside, The benefits of rationality has another problem: I'll change computer soon and have to move everything on USB for a while, I won't be able to work on it. If anything, a better computer will make my job easier, hopefully.
