Next pixel art attempts! Red Breasted Nuthatch (#1 on my birding list) and a 16x16 Poco the bear. I'm finding this medium humbling. Not coming naturally to me. But that makes me admire you pixel artists all the more!

Took the photo of Poco for the post after trying the art from memory, probably would have done better with the colors especially the other way around. Ah well. Learning!
Nuthatch reference photo is from the Merlin app by Cornell University. Highly recommended.

1From our neighbourhood! The pink peony is one of my favorites, and we just learned these amazing tall ones are called Purple Lupins! They smell *very* strong.

More dees = scarier thing.
