Okay, let me explain what the Unity runtime fee and why you mustn't to worry about that

READ THE ARTICLE!

Firstly, how you know, Unity technologies adds the fees per install you games through the store (ex. Google play):

Personal and plus licenses: 0.20 dollars

Pro and enterprise: 0.15-0.01 dollars (depends on the number of downloads)

Second, Unity technologies will getting payment ONLY for first install(see last screenshot) and demos mostly won't triggered fees

Third, the fees will trigger only if two condition are met:

Personal and plus licenses:

  1. Install threshold - 200,000+ downloads

  2. Revenue threshold (United States dollar) - 200,000+

Pro and Enterprise:

  1. Install threshold - 1,000,000+ downloads

  2. Revenue threshold (United States dollar) - 1,000,000+

Now... the good news:

If you don't sell your game anywhere (I mean your game is F2P or it's fan game) that means the fees won't be met and doesn't matter how much times the game was installed!

There nothing to worry guys, relax!
