Optimization Debugging


Hi! Im now debugging the game and the performance optimizations trough stress testing. I tested on two computers. I get around 40-50 FPS on the first and around 70-90 FPS on the other computer with maximum settings applied. The general overall GPU-draw/frame rendering time is around 20-30 ms per frame, which is much higher/faster than earlier demos and tests. I have tested this carefully through threaded graph tests and profiling.

I will release new media and a new short teaser for the upcoming demo!

Next up

What happens next? * I'm gonna take a break from development of this project for some time >> If any criticial bug is reported now, Im gonna push some eventual hotfix. * I'm gonna make few videos where I talk about the development process etc!

We will be back with #development #streams in 2019!! We have leveled up our twitch settings, layout and UI! First stream date coming later!

We feel that #BinarySparks lost its direction over the past years and that we now need to try something else. Therefore we're moving on to a brand new project. It will be another puzzle game, most likely with elements included somehow!

#BinarySparks might be rebranded in a new name as so much will change in the game. What do you think of these news? Comment below! No date set for the upcoming demo!
