Pentagun is finished.


For the past three days, I’ve devoted a lot of my free time to finishing Pentagun - had I known just how much of it I’d have, I would’ve skipped releasing Beta 1.4 and just saved for the (now) final release.

This update (titled the “Final Update”) doesn’t add anything - it changes some things and makes a couple of last-minute fixes. Because of how rushed the last few developments were, there’s likely to be a few overlooked bugs. If that is the case, ONE MORE update will be released for the game, but if not, then this really is the last one.

I’ve learned a lot about game design and myself as a developer, and, with that, I can say that this will be my last game for a while.

A few last words in Pentagun’s honor: while I did not match my original ambitions, it was still worth every monotonous second.

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
