Hey y'all, just wanted to do a quick update to keep y'all informed on what position the game is in. Before we start though, I'd like to thank y'all for the positive perception the demo has gotten.
Means a lot to me that something I put a lot of effort into is making people happy. Thank you so much.
With that out of the way, Lament is coming along well, although now I'm at the point in development where things take a lot longer to develop. This is because of the randomized days mechanic I put in, which shouldn't be too difficult to program, just tedious.
So while I'm working on that, thought I'd show off two things. One, the Playing With Power gameplay footage and two, the slot machine.
In a previous post, I mentioned a mechanic where the player would spin a slot machine and get a random enemy from it. Well now, I'm doing that with days themselves. Here's how it works, at the beginning of days 3 to 5, you get this slot machine and have to roll it.
Depending on the number you roll, your following night will be randomized. Some randomized days are big, some small, a mixed bag really. Can't wait to show y'all all the ideas I have for this.
