Next up
And the winners of #InsectileContest are... Creepslime (Twitter) and ricekrispbee (IG)! I will be adding both of these puzzlingly-shaped creatures to the game!
My game can be hard to capture in a quick post because it takes seeing a full match to really grasp.
So, if you can spare 51 seconds, I'd really appreciate your attention and feedback on my turn-based RPG about puzzlingly-shaped bugs! : )
It may just be me, but I think this effect is really cute:
With Bubble, you can build a temporary shield. Each tile placed soaks up 1 damage from the next round of attacks. I was inspired by Diving Bell Spiders : )
Working on a feature that should've been in the demo to begin with... a map! As the Insectile world expands, it will become necessary for thorough exploration!
first batch of color variants done, forgot to post last night
i think imma start changing up the outfits so i dont get bored of this
second batch will come later
I'm revising the date of #InsectileContest just a bit!
Since the winner will not be decided until at least Monday morning, I will be accepting submissions through Sunday night : ) There is still plenty of time to design your own puzzlingly-shaped bug!
π¨ I'm hosting the Insectile Design Contest!
π Design a cute, puzzle-shaped bug!
π One winner gets their design in the game and a free copy of Insectile on release!
π Deadline: July 25th
β Please read the full rules before entering! Good luck!
Here's those honey bees I just posted up close! Adorable!
As I'm reviewing the entries for #InsectileContest, I'd love some feedback on the new bug collecting animation!
How can I make it more satisfying? (Or soul crushing, for failures?)
