This week's "devlog" is actually dedicated to the official FNAC + POPGOES Game Jolt Art Contest and its winners! There is not too much to share this week in terms of game development so instead of padding it out, I'm just going to give the winners their much-deserved attention and keep things short and simple.
That being said, there will still be a Sticker of the week, and an ordinary fanart showcase!

This week's sticker is Whimps Shush, replacing last week's Blake Huh?, and of course this was also drawn by @StupidButterfly

If you aren't familiar with this character, Whimps is a secret NPC who only appears in the premium/Steam version of the game. He's a surreal character with no distinct species (though maybe a type of bird?) and he seems to be totally omniscient, somehow. Well, people really seem to like him, so how about a sticker to celebrate him and his creepiness!

The wait is finally over!
I want to personally thank every single person who took part in this awesome contest, especially those who contributed knowing full well that they would not be eligible for the physical prizes. The amount of amazing art we received is kind of mind blowing and it has stocked up my Fanart Showcase schedule for MONTHS!
I also want to say that I provided Game Jolt staff with a BUNCH of potential winners for this contest, and that, as expected, a lot of the submissions were from non-US contries and therefore disqualified from the physical prizes. It was very difficult to narrow things down, but I've settled on two pieces, for the POPGOES winner and runner-up, from artists in the US.

This is a really nice piece featuring the Evergreen characters putting together Blackrabbit. I like its colours, the lighting, everything. Awesome effort by lysdawg - you've won some Mystery Minis so make sure to check your email!
And the grand prize winner for the POPGOES art contest is...

This is honestly one of my favourite bits of POPGOES fanart ever, and I'm super glad cadabread was eligible for the grand prize. I LOVE how this looks. Love the low-contrast colours, the stylised takes on the characters and their hairdos, and the arbitrary barcode and nonsense "text" on the right lol. Just a really well put together piece, very deserving of the grand prize, which is of course a bunch of FNAF goodies. Make sure to also check your email cadabread!
A huge round of applause for our POPGOES art winners! Like I said, there were tons of submissions to sift through and this was not an easy choice. I will make sure that all of my favourite pieces that didn't win the contest are also showcased through these updates (or elsewhere) because they were all amazing.
Congrats to @lysdawg and @cadabread and once again thank you EVERYONE for taking part. Maybe we'll do this again next year?
