Prototype V0.6: House layout, Latches, Patrols, and more!

While this update wasn't packed with content, it did add three big features that will definitely shape the gameplay experience. For starters, the house has began being built. The original alpha 1 house is being tweaked to fit the layout to the games theme. More on this sooner in development.

Latches now exist, which can be used to lock a door and make it unusable, until unlocked. Not much to say about them. They are cool, i guess.

The guest now has an idle task called patrol. He will simply move to a random location and look around. This can lure you into a false sense of danger and twist your emotions and spice up the gameplay. You may think he is in hunt mode, but maybe he isn't.

That's all for this update! Some videos may be coming soon :)

Been working lately on lots of 'behind-the-scenes' boring stuff that no one really cares about, so here’s a guy playing the sax for some reason.

What you all think

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)
