JadeJohnson:
I've loved this song literally ever since Vanessa Carlton's "Harmonium"-album first released in 2004, and I picked-up my own copy from my (at the time) local Borders Group Incorporated book-store. (How many of you actually remember them, as well as that wonderful new-book aroma wafting about from within?)
I love those songs that tell deep, dark, relatable stories, complete with each's own lesson to have learned by its end. It always goes to show that it's possible for one to never stop learning, even simply whilst having fun by listening to music!
Our favourite artistes are normal people too, just like you and me, and to hear of their darkest times, or their saddest moments, or the events that shaped them into who they are today, helps us all to realise and remember that we're not alone on this walk of life;
and even for those songs that loosely allude to another's personal experience than the official performer, that is still very relevant, as relatability is a "rule" that always applies.
As for why the Rockstar Games® Beaterator™ interface looks so different than the way you may-or-may-not have seen it appear before, that is simply due to the fact that I wanted it to match the current posting-time weather here at the "JadeJohnson Industries™" headquarters: everything, and I do mean every thing, is entirely covered, in snow, with even more forcasted for the next couple of days! So white fits, eh?
Finally, what does pspAI V3 bring to the table?
Now, we have, for the first time in forever (no, literally) both discovered, and implemented, a way to seamlessly mix pspAI tracks, with normal Beaterator-channels, and still have the resulting song sound far-more-than decent!
Normally, because of the low master volume-settings required for pspAI not to overload the speakers of the Sony® PlayStation™ Portable (PSP™), or even any device emulating said handheld, any traditionally-rendered tracks would have been entirely inaudible when mixed with audio-that's been mastered via either of the previous two pspAI iterations. So, you could-argue, this is quite the achievement indeed, and we can only imagine what a possible pspAI V4 might entail!
Please enjoy, and as always, "Happy Jading!™"
Jading:
Justness,
Amnesty,
Dependability,
Inclusivity,
Non-vulgarity,
Good manners.
Postscript: I do indeed plan to officially sing this song, too!
