Dynocation Anatomy

The long awaited anatomy post! :D
--More indepth lore in the article!

The Dynocation Anatomy is much similar to that of an amoeba. Throw your ideas of mammalian anatomy out the window! Dynos are something completely different!

What is an amoeba?

"An amoeba is a type of cell or unicellular organism with the ability to alter its shape, primarily by extending and retracting pseudopods. Amoebae do not form a single taxonomic group; instead, they are found in every major lineage of eukaryotic organisms." [Wikipedia]

As Told By Baki:
An amoeba is a type of real life creature with the ability to alter it's shape, and has limbs similar to arms and legs, but with no bones or blood. This makes their limbs all goopy and gooey. These limbs are called pseudopods. Pseudo meaning "almost like" and "pods" being like limbs. "Almost like limbs".

Head Tentacles

[Thank you for posing for us lord Yhwh]

The tentacles of a dynocation are extremely important. Dynocation don't have noses or ears. Rather, they use their head tentacles to sense their enviroment. Due to this their head tentacles are extremely sensitive. They do not like having their tentacles touched. Their pointy look is useful for sensing radio signals of which they can communicate with.

DO NOT TOUCH A DYNO'S HEAD TENTACLES
They don't like it and it's considered rude.

Head Tentacle Shape:

Head tentacles come in all shapes and sizes, and this is detemined by the dyno sporting them. The larger the head tentacles the more "masculine" a dyno can seem. The smaller the head tentacles the more "feminen" a dyno can seem. This does not determine a gender, but does give some insight on a dynocation's possible personality.

Dynocation Eyes

Most Common Type Of Eye:
[Pupil hook at top with tapering end]

More Eye Types Can Include:

[Doubled up pupils in one eye]
A rare type of pupil alignment seen on mostly aggressive dynos. Most dynos have two pupils, but will usually hide the second one to look like the above eye type.

gifmaker_me5.gif

[Upside down pupil]
A semi-aggressive looking pupil alignment.

gifmaker_me6.gif

[Pupil-less eyes]
A dyno who hides their pupils for decorative reasons, and gives a dyno a much more "calm" look.

gifmaker_me7.gif

[Two-Color Eyes]
These dynos have two colors in their eyes. Usually in a circular formation. Michael is a good example of this eye type.

gifmaker_me8.gif

[White Pupil]
Seen on dynos when entering a dark room or entering in or out of water. The "white" look comes from a film of membrane covering the pupil. This protects it from light caused blindness when going from dark to bright enviroments.

Eye Color: As you can see above, the eye colors can be very diverse and unique! :D What rules are there on eye color?

Okay Eye Colors:
>Any color can be used! From red, black, white, blue, ect.
>Two color eyes can exist on a dyno.
>Animated swirls are allowed

Not Correct Eye Colors:
>Heterochromia (Dynos just don't have this)
>Rainbow eyes (This does not include adding sun-flare to eyes: those little rainbow dots on the pupils)

What does a dyno see?
Dynocation Can See In:
+ 360 Degree Vision
Their unique pupil shape on two eyes grants them a full view of their surroundings.

360view.jpg

+ Heat Vision
They are able to see body heat and pick out mammals from the surrounding scenery. They can also see organs when upclose to a human. The heart is especially easy to see.

+ UV Vision
You thought your vision was good, yet the dynos can see things you, as a human, cannot. UV vision helps dynos detect reptiles and birds as well as see threats in blaringly bright contrast to their surroundings. (Thorns on a bush and patches of thicket will stand out amongst the greenery). This also makes them able to see the bone structure of a human.

Conclusion: The dynocation view you, as a human, to be a colorful and cute being with a creepy big grin. I'm kiding around! Though, the way the dynocation view the world is quite different than that of a human. You view the sky as blue with the forest as green and the dirt brown. The dynocation see the sky as a rainbow, the trees are a mix of purples and whites, and the dirt is probably a deep blue color.

How do dynocation view each other? They view each other as a mixture of colors, but the membranes are distinct all the same. Ocean, mountain, and the rest of the dyno races are easy for a dyno to distinguish.

This is why the color of dynocation membrane are so stand out. They aren't trying to hide from humans. They're trying to hide from each other, and the few predators that eat dynos (sharks, bears, tigers, and the like). This leads to ocean dynos being white to hide in the darkness of water, the forest dynos are bright blue against the dirt, and the mountain dynos are such a piercing red against the desert sand.

Pseudopods
The limbs of a dynocation. These come in all shapes and sizes. Check out these unique dynos and their interesting pseudopods!

Examples: Michael, Lucifer, Baki, and Zeus.
I'm sleepy eepy > w o,

There is no limit on how many pseudopods a dyno can have or what they can look like. Want wings? Give your dyno wings. Want 10 arms? Give them ten arms! :D Want something wacky and unique like Michael or Yhwh? Go for it!

The only rule is to not have any cuts in the limbs and no floating limbs. They're amoeba. The limbs ARE connected to the body.

Teeth
Dynocation have sharp curved teeth. These teeth can be any color you want! No limit on the color! Keep in mind that dynocation are exclusive carnivores! These teeth are made for slicing meat.

In fact in olden times, dynocation would use their teeth to bite limbs off fish and other creatures to make eating them easier/less dangerous. :3c Now days dynos just use it to express emotion or to eat.

Vacoule
Where dynocation hold things in their body. It's mostly used to digest food slowly over time. It can also be used as a make-shift storage as well!

Nucleus

The nucleus of a dynocation is very important! It's both their genetic make-up and also where they store memories. This is where their thought and being comes from. It acts as the heart of the dynocation in a way.

If the nucleus is destroyed, the dyno ceases to exist.

It can be anywhere in a dynos body. Best for a dyno to keep it where it's less likely to be nudged.

Cytoplasm

Cytoplasm is a digusting grey goopy color. The sight of cytoplasm is grotesque to most dynos. It's like their equivalent of blood or excess. It stays in the body or is disposed in a reasonable manner. It's also disturbing to see cytoplasm painted somewhere, akin to seeing a murder scene!

Membrane

The outer layer of a dynocation. You could call it the "skin". It is a very fragile part of the dynocation. All the added eyesight and better defenses is to protect this flimsy, but extremely important part of a dyno.

If the membrane is cut or ripped, the dynocation can very well explode or rapidly "bleed" out. This can kill a dyno quickly and easily. To be pierced and exploded in dyno society is referred to as "popping". Rather than "killing" each other, they "pop" each other. It's a mean thing for a dyno to do to another!

The membrane can be used to produce beanies, or other life forms as well. :D

OMG! That was so much information! I hope you enjoyed my writings though and learned a lot about the dynocation! If you have any questions regarding dynocation anatomy. Please comment below! :D

Please also let me know if you enjoyed this level of detail too! It makes me smile reading nice comments, and I always try to reply to them! Thank you so much! - Baki

Submission for #ArtWeeklies 5/17/2024. Theme chosen: Video Game Enemies.

Haven't done an Art Weeklies for a while, so here's a (very) rushed Dizzy from Kirby's Dream Land. They're so silly, I couldn't NOT paint them.
