Hey.
Wow first post on this site in an over a year.
i've been debating whether or not i should finally make this post.
So Rise Of Fredbear’s is a fnaf fan game I started to work on around July 2023 in the Unity engine. since then almost nothing has been done other than extremely slow map building and figuring out how to use the engine itself. the game is basically a giant mess and probably can’t even be called a game because there is pretty much no gameplay, completely messed up lighting, an uncountable amount of bugs, and extremely broken code, the game page is currently unlisted.
I had planned to release a demo at the end of November but it’s absolutely terrible in its current state and I feel like it would be embarrassing to put it up on the internet even as my first game.
So here are a few screenshots of what the game looked like.

Not very good as you can see some of these date back to mid 2023.

All of my reasons for abandoning this version are almost all completely due to the extreme limitations of my hardware and not being motivated or having time to work on this game because of school. Baking lighting was almost impossible without a 24+ hour wait which is actually ridiculous..It also didn’t help that my screen had been broken for over a year and my keyboard was pretty messed up as half of the keys weren’t functional.
I’ve made the decision to stop using Unity for now and completely remake the game in Unreal Engine 4, on a far better computer which has replaced the extremely underpowered laptop I’ve been using for the past 3 years now.
As of writing this I’ve already restarted development about 4 weeks ago and a lot of progress is being made, I’m actually getting close to having a somewhat playable build already. so I’ll be working as hard as I can to hopefully get as much done as possible before my break from school ends (1/6/2025) and maybe have a one night demo early next year?
The new gamepage is published now you can find it here.
(I’ll also be changing my username soon to something less cringe and more original I need ideas lol)
I’d also like to thank @MilozYouAintHere for showing me how the Unity engine works a little bit and just overall being a good friend.
I really appreciate it!
Also Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
