Roll Down releasing the Bio update {0.4.4} !

Hello every one today I finally was able to finish the next version of Roll Down I also want to take the opportunity and thank every one who supported me on the way to create our dream racing game! So what did I change in this update?

First of all the main feature of this update. Is the new Foliage.

As announced in the roadmap last year, I implemented a procedural Foliage system.

Two new tracks and events.

Time Attack event with a lot of jumps and a second race event both tracks are located in the Canyons of Arizona(USA).

Implemented a new settings menu with a lot of changes!

  • Fixed the resolution setting for the window mode

  • add a difficulty selection for the opponents (AI)

  • add key mapping and Camera sensitivity option

Overworked Scoreboard system

It saves your high score now two times, one time on your local PC and the second time on the Game jolt cloud in New York together with some other values like average speed and number of collisions. This collected data will be used later to improve the opponents AI and the overall game difficulty. Of coarse this system doesn’t replace the good old player feedback which I would be more than happy to receive.

Other changes and fixes worth mentioning

  • add a Map and track selection for each Gamemode

  • auto-login for Gamejolt users

  • updated the lighting system
