Scourge of Scavengers is back baby!!!

Well, mostly...! Me and the boys thought that it might've been way too much time without any news and showcases of progress, so I decided to make a post for it!

Since Demo 4 is partially an overhaul of the pre-existing material, I thought it would suffice to show you guys some little (or not little) changes!

First of all, I'd like to introduce the Different Battle Backgrounds!

The backgrounds differ from various situations and the level of difficulty that you'll face when fighting an enemy. The harder the enemy, the more detailed the backgrounds get! Niche, huh?

I would also like to show you a little change in the battle itself...!

You can now see the after-effect of your PARRYING and DEFENDING, which might help you figure out the length of your weapon! It helps to get your precision intact, methinks.

Don't forget that these minor changes come with big changes too! The battle system, as I mentioned prior, was overhauled to make it more balanced and fun! There will be new things to expect in future confrontations, but I'd like to keep that a secret for now :P

Of course, it would be fair to mention that the story also progressed. Here is a little showcase of one of the upcoming areas!

I'm not usually the one to spoil much, so I think I might stop here! You'll get to see the remaining content... whenever Demo 4 drops!

The one big and important thing I can mention is that Demo 4 will be the last Demo, and the next version is expected to be the Final one! The end of the story is so close, yet still out of reach. But we will get there, with patience!

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
