This week, for #ScreenshotSaturday, a peaceful waterfall amidst the chaos of Paradox Vector. Play the demo to find out how the water gets all the way back up there. You may be surprised!
Here you see two new features. At the beginning you see the red damage circle when the player gets hit. Then, watch the behavior of the guard as it peeks out and takes a shot at our protagonist before retreating behind the wall...
In addition to developing games, I also paint... "Machine" - 8 x 8 inches - Acrylic on Masonite - 2021
I have been revising the story for Paradox Vector, drawing on the work of H.P. Lovecraft to give it more depth, and to guide the next steps in terms of creature and environment design...
I am giving each level in Paradox Vector a little more of a distinct look and feel.
#gamejoltart Another painting, this one in oils. I designed this in a 3D software before printing it and hand painting all the colors and patterns by hand. https://store.steampowered.com/developer/SchmidtWorkshops http://www.schmidt-gallery.com/ https://gamejolt.com/@SchmidtWorkshops https://schmidt-workshops.weebly.com/
Updated to Version 6.0 There are some new surprises! Check out the free demo :)
#gamejoltart Here is another excerpt from a painting. These were both done way back in 2005. They are based on photos I took in a German castle. https://store.steampowered.com/developer/SchmidtWorkshops http://www.schmidt-gallery.com/ https://gamejolt.com/@SchmidtWorkshops https://schmidt-workshops.weebly.com/
