"JadeJohnson Audio™" Editor's Note:
We openly admit that this may not be our most musically-SOUND arrangement in terms of music-theory, but we primarily focused upon the placements and stylisations of our notes to make up for that.
JadeJohnson:
"Candy Cane Lane", by Sia, is my third-favourite Christmas-slash-Winter--song of all time. It has this fun, magical, bouncy rhythm that PERFECTLY brings me back to my childhood! I love that track so much!
For my cover, like I did in my full-length Christmas-album from a small number of years back, I still wanted to use an existing year-round song as an instrumental template via which to drive the song's mood. So, since I knew I wanted to make a romantic-rendition of Sia's "Candy Cane Lane", what better template to use than my fully original, "My Perfect Partner"-slash-"Instant Reverie"--instrumental, eh?
Granted, I DID-have a couple of other options, but I really desired for the vibe beHIND this track's leading melody to be entirely mine, which significantly reduced said other choices down to just, THE ONE! Quite honestly-though, even if the music-theorists around the world are scoffing their voices mute at the amount of sheer dissonance in this arrangement, a wise fictional man, by the name of Mister Erwin Sikowitz, once said:
"Tori, the whole point of The Bird Scene is to teach a performer, like yourself, to believe in their own choices no matter what others say. We are artists, and a true artist doesn't need approval from others. A true artist only needs to please himself, or herself, or itself." (Daniel James Schneider, 2010.)
Rex Powers (Robbie Shapiro's Ventriloquy-Dummy), after Sikowitz points indicatively at him upon the pronunciation of "itself":
"You don't know WHAT-I-got!"
[¡lol!]
Anyway, please enjoy this song, and as we here at "JadeJohnson Industries™" do-know that The Holidays can be a rough period for many folks, even those who don't-celebrate, please do your very best to at least try to have a happy Christmas, a happy Hanukkah, a happy Kwanza, a happy Winter, et-cetera, and we hope to see you all aGain in Twenty--Twenty-Six!
Happy New Year, and of course, as always, "Happy Jading!™"

Postscript:
JadeJohnson: I just love how the eight-bit remix totally preserves, and in my-opinion, even amplifies the intensity of, that magically bouncily nostalgic bass-line! That, and because I simply enjoy it so much, is why I decided to include it here as well!
