Simple collision theory (not physics based):


If you're within xz boundaries of an object, you are removed along xz axis. However if you are above (from your feet)t sets your floor level and keeps you from falling through the floor level. If you are below (from your head) then if you jump you will be repelled downward. Once you have a floor level, it will continually update the floor level until you step off, in which case it is reset to zero (note: it is set to zero every cycle at the beginning of the cycle, not when you move off the block

Sorry if this is irrelevant I just wanted to not my thoughts down and how my collision works, I wonder how does this compare to other people's?

This is a general #UnrealEngine tool, not specifically for the Mega Man project. It can copy the data from ANY Blueprint or C++ UPROPERTY variable, and copy it back to any compatible variable. Could lead to making Save States for Rollback Netcode.
