Sometimes I wonder if the Haunted Haiden Au took over my brain space back when I was still drawing things for this Au. Now it's this other Au/Canon Divergence idea I have... not sure how that'll be received...

I call it "Together Again: Galaxy's Edge".


Haunted Haiden - Listening In

"Yeesh... and just as I thought that this dump couldn't get any more depressing... this happens." - Haiden/Lucas

Haiden often eavesdrops on the other animatronics to learn their plans for the night, this has enabled him to predict their movements and warn the guards who take the night shift. Saving their lives in the process. All the work he put into maintaining the image of a non-haunted animatronic pays off as he is never suspected to be the one warning them.

This time however, he listens in on a massive lore dump and finds himself deeply concerned. While Haiden feels a sliver of pity for Harlan, he finds himself afraid for Ashley's safety when the time comes for her to begin her week at Lake's Funland. Lorraine reminded Harlan of Ashley and to Haiden that's probably not a good thing depending on how you look at it.

Unbeknownst to Haiden however, a long forgotten memory of Harlan's has him begin to connect the dots and it isn't long before he starts harbouring suspicions about Haiden's true nature. Not that he's going to enlighten anyone about said suspicions...
