State of Elite


Hello,

Elite is becoming good engine in my opinion lol.

New features are:

Distance lighting

Depth lighting

Lag fixes

And best in my opinion is map system.

You can now have more than 1 level in the game, works kinda like half life 1's.

Lag fixes:

Better offscreen-hiding

Pre calculating math used in projection script (more fps)

To do:

Inventory system (easy)

Pen engine from scratch (medium)

Main menu system (Just need to import it in project)

Directional Sound(easy)

And i think that is pretty much it expect editor coming out in december 16 december few days before mine birthday lol

Just revealing this for my physics engine, I made this in 3 days. It is going great so far, it is far more optimized than coding complicated stuff in engine, because it is being done without one block, not 2 not 10, just one block.
