The Button Inc. Reopens

It is fast approaching two years since we released our strange little experiment to the world, and one year since any news. There is now news, dear friends and loyal button pushers.
We have been amazed to see how many people found some slight amusement in pressing a mysterious button while we were scrambling to find a direction for this game. We now have some solid ideas.

The last time we posted, we spoke of new servers since the old ones were outdated. Well, that turned out to be something we couldn’t achieve just yet. So, we have made the decision to use Game Jolts very own API, which saves you having to sign up for a TBI account.

The next update, which we are currently working on, will feature GameJolt log in and some actual gameplay! The PC version will finally benefit from the updated style of the mobile port, and both will have the updated gameplay.

As of now, it looks like PC and Android will still be the only platforms- but we intend to branch out if the game is profitable enough. The game will still be free but if PC players can chip in, that would be great, and ads will be present (but not too annoying) on mobile. We are also toying with the idea of in-app purchases.

We will keep you informed.
