What was that about the next chapter getting "heated"?

---

Volcano mechanics in action! Ignore the obvious placeholder graphics while you try to avoid melting.

I guess the answer to last week's question is "at least 4". Not counting the one who died in the last game.

CHAPTER 4 (T) IS DONE!!!

We are now 2/3 of the way to the phase 2 release! I'm very excited to share this with you all soon.

Here's the first glimpse of the Cool Stuff of 2024: The redesigned pause screen!

This is a much prettier, and (hopefully) more intuitive way to change your gear mid-level.

And yes, this is based on that mockup from earlier - it was too good to leave out.

Happy #WIPWednesday!

Are you working on a game? A song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

Chapter 4T level design is done!

Every good level deserves a good boss arena - and every good arena deserves a good boss!

As you can see, I'm still working on that last part. Stay tuned for more updates...

With the new finalized graphics, that volcano is starting to look a little *spicier*.

I don't know why our spiky boy is so shy about hopping in the magma - those bugs seem to be having the time of their lives!

With another chapter out of the way, it's time for some UX improvements! Everybody loves those, right?

* Pixel-perfect mode - the game also scales perfectly on 1080p screens as-is

* Player selector & star counter in challenge mode

* Text is more readable

Highrise Game Jam Reminder: In order to enter to win the Jam, your game must be created in Unity and submitted using the Highrise Studio Hub.

Oh gosh... how long has it been since I posted last?

Time to show off a new sprite, I guess. This one's a little smaller. Just how many of these guys are there?

Variations shown: Blank face, painted face, mouth open, glider wings, [][][][][][][][].
