Working on a cave themed level, which it will make a huge part of the story (Yes, there's going to be a plot in this!)
#WIPWednesday Some more progress on #Kumper: 0.2.0!
Revamped the whole level and added some more features, the first level is now more focused in teaching the player the main mechanics and how the levels are usually designed in this game.
Kumper is now back in development!
It's been months since I haven't worked on this game, but now I picked up on this again and actually reworked everything from zero just yesterday. This is the progress so far.
This build is now playable too!
Development for Kumper has started in 22/09/2024. Also where I started using the engine for it (GB Studio).
So far after 1 month: Almost polished gameplay, 3 playable levels, title screen, selection screen (beta and unpolished), and some level elements.
Made a #3D model for a #TimeTomias game I'm working on right now!
The texturing tok me longer than I expected, but it was totally worth it!
(I used #blockbench)
I'm still working on the 2D animation of course, but I can't share anything of it online.

The new build is avaliable to play on the Gamejolt game page and on Itch io. (https://jackalocked.itch.io/kumper)
- Added a new playable level: Cave level!
- Added 3 new types of enemies: Birds, Bees and Moles;
- Falling stalactites!
The game's ROM won't be compatible with the normal gameboy. It's gameboy colour only now.
This video shows the gameplay on normal Gameboy mode, I don't even have to describe the issues.
The compatability causes limitations too! So it's not worth keeping.
