This monster is quite unique from the others... for starters you can always see its eyes, no matter how dark it is. This means that you immediately know he's in the hallway when you look behind you. It also doesn't make a jump scare piano sfx when seen.

Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.
In Unity, this character is obviously all 2D, but it changes its perspective / angle of view as you walk around it. I like how this manages to keep the 2D paper-like aesthetic but makes it somewhat work in a 3D environment :D
Both the game and the TV show of The Last of Us have been praised for their depiction of Bill. In 2013, GLAAD described the game's Bill as being "as deeply flawed but wholly unique a gay character found in any storytelling medium this year."
