Introducing the world of Dark Queen: A Journey into Myth, Legend, and History

We just dropped a new trailer for Dark Queen of Samobor (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71fXnpTUGZk), narrated by Sandra Lončarić, a renowned Croatian actress. It got showcased in Best Indie Games Summer Showcase 2025 hosted by Best Indie Games.

Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.

How we made our combat more juicy

During playtesting sessions we realized that our combat system didn't feel as engaging as it should.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

Dark Queen is set in early 15th century Croatia. Players take on a role of the Crusader on a quest to rescue his beloved from the Dark Queen’s castle.

Inspired by Croatian literature and Slavic folklore, specifically the August Šenoa's The Snake Queen.
