Today, I went to the cinema and watched the Live-Action How To Train Your Dragon movie

And in my opinion...

Hands down, as good as the original. May I say possibly even better?

No joke this movie slapped. I swear in the Test Drive scene when they dived, it genuinely felt like I was on a rollercoaster, it was just THAT thrilling.

Disney better take notes, THIS is how you make a live action remake, this one actually used lots of practical effects and the level of detail was insane. I watched a BTS documentary and you can tell the crew were really passionate in the project and it shows. There were also a lot of really neat details you might easily miss, like how when Fishlegs mentions a Scaldron at one point, the camera points at Ruffnut, a possible easter egg to the show Riders of Berk, when she befriends a Scaldron

Or in the conversation between Stoick and Gobber when they mention Valka, you could hear the motif of the song they sing together in HTTYD2 faintly in the background. Details like these are really cool touches.

Overwise yeah there's not too much to say otherwise. It's literally just HTTYD in Live-Action. The dragons look good, the acting is solid, the movie is quite scary (the dragons actually feel way more dangerous in the live-action remake, probably due to the live-action-ness of it, the threat of death is way more real) and overall just really good. PlatinumBlade approved, 9/10.

Last time I went to the cinema, I watched KFP4 which was easily my least favourite Dreamworks Movie. So funny that the last 2 cinema visits were for DW movies, the first I hated and 2nd I loved (btw only true fans remember that KFP4 rant I posted last year)

Also apologies for not posting in a while, been busy doing stuff (gym, chores, touching grass, etc.)

Level 3 of Monstuso Labratories will be revealed soon, took a while cause I was playing tons of BTD 6

I've been spending some time grinding out parts for Corvettes in NMS, and finally I've built...

THE EAGLE

Its design is based off Stealth bombers, and I must say it is MASSIVE compared to my first Corvette, and way more huge compared to normal starships

It has finally been done...

#MonstrusoLabratories #4

Been quite a while since I posted, been busy with Uni and took quite a break from CtB development and Minecraft, but getting back to making Monstruso Labratories

Hmm... favourite gaming spaceship...

Pretty tough question, since I have quite the menagerie of starships in No Man's Sky, from my new white Sentinel Ship, to my Living Ship, to my giant EAGLE Corvette, and many more.

I think I'll go with...

The Joltidays are here again!

Each Monday in December, you'll get a new Joltidays quest!

Plus, check out new seasonal items in the shop!

Just got to the Centre of the Galaxy in Permadeath mode and got the achievement

(also found out doing this in Permadeath simultaneously gives you the achievement for doing the same on Survival mode, so that's a 2 in 1 deal)

Also here's some photos ;)

As I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before, the first game I ever played was Gunball 2: Emperor's Revenge (a Flash Game), and was probably when I was about 5 or 6 years old

There's still time to post YOUR nail art and enter Opera GX's #GXNailArt contest! (Here's some of what your fellow Jolters have posted.)

The Dragon is done

I've dubbed him... THE THUNDERSHOCKER

(Yes this drawing was entirely done in PowerPoint, also yes I just got a 4k image of Earth because I didn't want to spend that long on painstakingly making a realistic Earth)

Pretty sweet stuff ;)
