Major Characters
Asgore: Asgore, consumed by regret following the horrific deaths of three children, has sought refuge in Old Home. He spends his days in Old Home's Castle, haunted by memories while drinking tea and attempting to bake. In his solitude, he attempts to repair the wounds left in the underground, yet he is frequently portrayed as a coward who has abandoned his responsibilities.
Sir Mehblook: Sir Mehblook, formerly a spirit hunting for a false body, has now donned the armor of a knight. He commands the "Wonder Crew" in protecting Old Home from any dangers. His unconventional attitude and fun demeanor frequently brighten the mood in stressful situations.
Ragel: The flamboyant dancing mushroom, Ragel, initially appears to be an ally, helping Kris throughout their journey. However, their true intentions surface when the moment arrives to confront Toriel, revealing a darker plan aimed at the destruction of humanity and anyone who supports it.
Papyrus: Papyrus, whilst remaining the loving and eccentric skeleton known for his love of riddles and snacks like dinosaur egg porridge, he displays signs of lethargy. He enjoys working at "The Burger Joint" in Metropolis, owned by Burgerpants, where he occasionally ignores his responsibilities, preferring to eat and daydream rather than work too hard.
Sans: Sans, Metropolis' ever-chill sheriff, is more active and energetic than before, although maintaining his typical laid-back manner. He joyfully accepts his responsibilities, forming friendships in the lively town and demonstrating a commitment to maintaining peace among its unusual population.
Alphys: Alphys, now a more confident figure, proudly wears her sheriff's badge as she grows into her role as the underground community's guardian. Despite her newfound confidence, she still suffers from feelings of inadequacy, frequently worrying that she isn't doing enough for people she defends.
Undyne: Undyne, a creative scholar with a dash of lunacy, runs her own sanctuary called Undyne's Sanctuary, where she conducts experiments and invents new things. Her thirst for knowledge is combined with an unwavering desire to defend her home, making her a formidable force in the underground.
M.E.W.: This fearsome creation, formed from Angsterblook's fury, was inspired by the iconic anime character Mew Mew Kissy Cutie. M.E.W., now residing in the Glaciers, was created exclusively to destroy any humans who try to enter the Underground, creating dread in those who would oppose its wrath and fixation with perfection.
Toriel: Toriel, the underground's monarch, worked valiantly to free her people without resorting to violence. After the fifth fallen human infant, her attempts appear hopeless, leaving her sad as she confronts the brutal reality of her failings in the hallways of the Ebott Capitol Building.
Chara: Chara, the first human to fall into the Underground, was discovered and adopted by the royal family, where they met their new sibling, the compassionate prince Asriel. After witnessing their best friend's terrible murder, Asriel absorbed their soul in a desperate act of love and desperation. While their acts resulted in a common end. When Asriel died, their soul was moved into a new vessel, waiting for someone to bring it to life.
Asriel: Asriel, the compassionate and kind prince of the Underground, was the first to greet Chara, the fallen human, as if they were siblings and true friends. He hoped for a society in which humans and monsters could coexist together. However, his life was brutally cut short by a violent murder that broke his family and fueled the fury of the Underground's king.
Minor Character
Napstablook: Napstablook, Asgore's assistant in Old Home, is a helpful ghost who enjoys teaching players about fight mechanics. His compassionate mentoring allows novice adventurers to learn and adapt as they confront the hardships of the subterranean. When he isn't assisting Asgore, he performs his music for all to hear.
Mettablook: Mettablook, a spiteful and solitary spirit, has settled within the dusty crevices of Glaciers. They spend their days creating complicated, junk-filled traps, plagued by an ingrained inferiority complex. Fueled by a burning jealousy of their cousins successes, they devise a plan to establish their own value at all costs.
Burgerpants: Burgerpants, the owner of "The Burger Joint" in Metropolis, manages a lively burger restaurant where Papyrus works and eats wonderful food. The restaurant is a favorite hangout for residents looking for a tasty meal and some humorous conversation.
Royal Guard 01 & Royal Guard 02: These two are an inseparable pair of dedicated yet inept guards assigned to a position in the busy Glaciers area. They are nearly obsessively faithful to their commander, Alphys, and follow her every command to the letter. Despite their militaristic approach, they are frequently distracted by their own affection for one another, resulting in a chaotic, charming mess for all to behold.
Grillby: Grillby, the owner of a quiet, pleasant tavern in Glacier City, is a cool-headed bartender who rarely speaks. With a calm knowledge, he knows exactly what his patrons require, providing a feeling of steadiness amidst the resort's colorful pandemonium. He is a stoic person who offers a surprise source of comfort and information to weary travelers.
Dogamy & Dogaressa: Dogamy and Dogaressa, two overzealous guards patrolling the Glaciers, are on a mission to please Alphys, their captain. They are completely committed to each other and their mission, but their love for one another frequently gets in the way, resulting in a comic duet of puppy love for the player to manage.
Nice Cream Guy: The Nice Cream Guy, the owner of a modest, struggling business in Old Home, is a kindhearted soul in need of customers. He is constantly attempting to sell his delectable sweets, but his friendliness and lack of assertiveness make it impossible. More of a sorrowful figure than a villain, his interactions with the player center on the basic optimism of second chances and the power of kindness.
Muffet: Muffet, the owner of a once huge bakery, is frequently driven to desperation by her goals for her sweets. To prepare a "special pastry," she resorts to darker methods, devising schemes to eliminate any humans that cross her threshold in order to obtain the ingredient she requires.
Aster: Serif Aster, Metropolis' previous sheriff and a smart scholar, was instrumental in assisting Alphys and Undyne in spreading energy across the Underground. He abruptly vanished one day, abandoning his life as a scholar and hero. He now owns his own warehouse filled of trinkets and junk food, a mute reminder of a mind that once sculpted the kingdom's very landscape.
Old Man: The Old Man, a renowned warrior who sold his hammer for a pen, evolved into a wise writer who established the Underground's first sanctuary. He was a revered elder known for his knowledge and stories from the past. However, he inexplicably departed without a trace, leaving a trail of legends and a world wondering what happened to its greatest hero.
