The third and final stage of the game is finally here (still no boss though, maybe next year), along with various system improvements across the board.
Noteworthy changes:
New Content: World 3 - The Lost Civilization. Taking place in the year 2212, this tileset depicts a fallen continent overrun by killer androids known as Annihilators (definitely not Terminators), as well as a ceaseless thunderstorm. Why were you sent here? To clean up the Annihilators' mess? To take out an even greater threat? Only time will tell. (As always, experienced players can right click on New Game to try out the new level right away)
Added the option to toggle Chrono instead of hold.
Added the ability to switch classes using scroll wheel.
Sniper nerf partially reverted. Max pierce increased from 5 to 9, base damage is still 150. Projectile velocity decreased.
Grenadier's explosion radius now scales with thermal, up to 2x maximum.
Ranger's base reload time decreased, base firerate increased.
Ranger's damage scaling reduced. Max per-shot damage reduced from 420 to 360.
Bandit's weapon is now pinpoint accurate.
Heavy's base ammo capacity reduced from 61 to 51.
Speed upgrade now scales evenly for every speed group. This is an overall buff to slower classes.
Several adjustments made to Specialist abilities.
Chrono regen threshold increased from 20% to 50%.
Booting up the game for the first time will now redirect you to the tutorial.
You now start the game with 1000 shekels, enough for 6 upgrades or 1 heal.
Enemies in world 1 (pre-loop) are now less likely to shoot at you.
Reworded the text in the tutorial to be clearer.
Level generation in world 2 is slightly tweaked
Nerfed Subjugator.
Updated soundtrack for White Death.
Slightly updated the SFX for certain weapons.
Added animations for certain HUD elements.
Added some missing sound effects.
Added the random text below the game's title, as per tradition in my other games.
Added a lot of crosshairs.
Dynamic camera now works with every GFX option. (Thanks Demiero!)
Removed the debug damage numbers.
Fixed some bugs.
Added more bugs to fix later.
The game is getting closer and closer to completion. As always, feedbacks are always appreciated ;)
