Walls that had the glowing green pattern looked pretty good but took a long time to make. It involved carving out the pattern in the model. So I made this thing into a texture that could be slapped onto different walls, and the result is on the pic!

Reworking various materials into several unified main materials. This makes it easier to add color variations for stuff and overall optimizes the game. Here are some reworked cakes

Dedicated this week to working on ledge climbing. This doesn't seem to be that big of a deal, but whenever I play any movement related game, the ability to still land on a surface, even if you miss it by a little bit, really changes the flow.

Started planning out the way the important side character would interact with the player. Solution so far - groups of electronics (computers, cameras, etc.) that would look at the player when the character is talking

Continuing work on the rebound mechanic - here is how it will look like to jump off the walls! Also added some spark effects to signal the rebound availability and to look cooler.

We've added animation for a little side quest.

More cakes! These got new textures too.

Made some marmalade candies in different colors. And there is a fish shaped marmalade too, because I thought it would be funny. What other marmalade shapes can you think of?

Some progress on another new mechanic - rebound. It is sort of a finisher for an air slide. If you hit an object on your way, you will bounce off it - and if it is a robot, it will also take a lot of damage, probably dying a painful death in the process
