Welcome to "Esmarna: Portable", my newest RPG game that I'm working on (read the article)


Hi guyz Tuxine here and I wanted to show you my newest game "Esmarna: Portable" that I'm working on recently, it's still in very early development but I wanted to show it to the world,

so, what is Esmarna: Portable about? It's a adventure jRPG game set in a fantasy world invaded by a evil Lord and his helpers, and the main character with his friends needs to stop them from destroying the world, story may be simple but it's filled with dialogue choices and humor!

Game is still in early development so there isn't much to show but consider following it here on gamejolt if you are interested!

I plan on releasing a demo in early 2026, and also thanks to the modding community I can say that Esmarna: Portable will release on multiple platforms outside of standard windows PC's, that obviously means the game will run on Linux and (probably) MacOS but I will also port the game to mobile devices and some older consoles like PlayStation Vita or Nintendo Wii (only on modded homebrew capable systems)

Hey guys, cool news, I managed to run Esmarna: Portable on iPad (via RetroArch and easyrpg core), that's official, Esmarna will be available to be played on mobile devices such as Android and IOS devices

I decided that I'm switching the engine used in Esmarna: Portable from RPG Maker 2003 to RPG Maker XP, it's due to limitations of the 2003 version, it kinda now makes all the current screenshots outdated now, sorry for that, more updates soon
