What's been happening behind the scenes?


Disclaimer:

Before showing anything, I gotta say there will be no release dates.

Anything that will be shown below is being made in my spare time, therefore it may take more time, may or may not release, you get the idea.

I aim to finish each project, doesn't matter if those will be released publicly or not, at BEST they could be released privately in a group chat.

All of this will be explained later in the article.

Stop Bullying: Demake

To start things off, I've decided to move Stop Bullying 2 Demake to SB:D 1's page, and rebrand the page to Stop Bullying collection.

Reason being, the sequel did not deserve its own page, the game on its own was fine but the game page was barren and showed barely anything.

I also updated the page's appearance to fit the "new" style, that's pretty much it.

I do not plan on making a third game nor remake the other two installments, I don't see the point of doing that.

Besides, why do this when we can have something much better.

New tornado game

"Make sure all orders are done and intact."

This project is a reimagination of what Stop Bullying: Demake could have been if it was made into a non-joke game.

I wanted to separate my concept from BG11's Stop Bullying Series and turn it into something brand new.

It's a task-based game that takes ideas from both SB:D and SB:D sequel with new visuals, new gameplay mechanics and even new character cast.

The game on its own may be short and simple, as intended, however, it may take some more time to get done.

The Big Night (Legacy edition by the @BoxTeam )

Yeah, that exists. People behind this game used my assets and don't worry, they will get sued soon enough.

Jokes aside though, I gave them permission to actually recode this game and when I played it, yeah it's definitely way better than the original one.

If anything, I prefer the recode over the old one, at this point it may be the new official version.

On that note, I did think of remaking the game myself multiple times.

However over time, I started to hate the concept of the original version, its plot, gameplay and character cast was poorly executed, a remake would need to be redone from scratch.

That's what I tried to do with Behind the Frame / Boxed, but it eventually felt too far from the source and I've lost motivation to finish it.

The game on its one was playable and beatable, I've recently even fixed what COULD still be fixed and shared the unfinished build privately, with an addition of custom night etc.

The game will have to remain in the unfinished state, because even if I wanted to finish it, the coding of this game is pretty old and barely salvageable, it would ALSO need to be redone from scratch.

: )

After multiple iterations and ideas, I've decided to go back to square one and fuse most ideas into a NEW game, which is indeed a new take on the Big game.

One Night with a Box: Unboxed

This project had its first "version" being made in 2022, it then got rebranded into a new game called "Box in Space", which had about 7 iterations and was painful to get done the right way.

I got a lot of ideas for a possible Big the Game remake, which included new characters, mechanic improvements and even better LORE.

With that said, I took notes from each project, wrote down every idea I could and moved BiS concepts there. Obviously all of that had to wait until I saved up for a new pc, which didn't take that long.

So far the game is looking pretty fun, been showing gameplay footage and screenshots to some people and they seem to be interested to see the full thing, glad to hear that.

Can't really show much of any of the projects until there is way more progress, but I can show bits of things that will possibly appear in the full versions.

And also, there are plans for a DEMO version for the new box game, which may be coming soon.

"Five Nights at Bobby's"

This one is not really an actual game and more of a challenge I made. Its main goal is to create a FNaF parody cast (From 1 to 6),

in a limited cast that consists of 3 main characters and about 2 new characters per each next installment.

As of right now, I'm finishing the FNaF 4 parody cast and will proceed with the SL cast soon. I may post character renders and mockup teasers from this project at some point.

Other stuff

Aside from the projects above, I’ve also been making various arts to practice, can’t really say much about it, I’m sure there’s a quality improvement though.

That's all I'm able to show right now, smaller updates may appear later eventually.

Though, it may take some more time, reason being I focus on what I want to do irl wise.

Therefore I make more progress whenever I feel like it and whenever I have time to do so.

I plan no deadlines or release dates, at this point things would keep getting delayed and that’s not what I want. There’s also no 100% guarantee any of the projects will be released, in the past, it was due to my lack of skill, nowadays it’s just lack of time and motivation, plans keep on changing and I hope you understand that. 

Plus, if I end up feeling like the projects shouldn’t be released publicly, they won’t. Instead, those will be shared privately to a small group of people. This may sound dumb but I grew strong trust issues for the past few years, even towards people I talk to.

(The fact I was told that someone has been leaking my assets out of private servers doesn’t help that either.)
