What's going on with Incorrect Oddities 2.0?

Hey everyone it's @Morilix07 ! Today I'll give you some news/updates on the state of Incorrect Oddities 2.0 as of currently. A lot happened since the last time I shown it off. Both good and bad. So lets dive in the update.


The progress of the game so far:

Alright the progress of the game is close and yet far to being completed. Since the game only 4 things left to do (Excluding the OST YouTube release) the game's around 96% completed which is hyping me up a lot. All I need to do is to wait for wait for somethings to be completed so I could implement them into the game or wait for further help from other people. Even though this sounds like it will take a very short amount of time things in development has proven that otherwise. Which is our next subject.


How's development for IO 2.0 right now?:

Well as of current development for IO 2.0 has not been so well. A lot of things are trying to prevent me from releasing the game for you guys. It's been rough for me as well which doesn't help the fact that the game's still at 96%. Those seemly easy things I discussed earlier weren't so easy at all. The things that need to made are: A new intro for Inverted Quacker, A fix for the API screen, A characters jumpscare to be animated, and a vector of a character. I'm still waiting for the intro from Inverted Quacker which is something I have been waiting for weeks. The API screen fix is something I sadly don't know how to fix so I'll need help from others to help me complete it. I have made a post about but no one has notified me if they're interested to help. The vector of said character was being made at some point but sadly the person who was making the vector has left the project which leaves me without a vector artist. So maybe sometime later I could look for one. I'm not sure what to do for the jumpscare that needs to be animated. I could probably get someone to animate it? I was not lying that development has been rough on me man. It really has been. At this point I'm hoping for things to get better.


My thoughts:

So what are my thoughts so far. IO 2.0 has been one of the most exhausting, rough, not so enjoyable, complex, treacherous, unforgiving project I have ever worked on so far. This project has stressed me out a shit ton. I'm very tired at this point. I'm very tired on working and waiting for this project. I really don't want all of this hard work go to waste because it will be a very massive shame if it did. I want to finish this and take my massive break of doing other things that are not IO 2.0. I'm sick of IO 2.0 at this point. I really hope at launch things go smooth sailing. It's amazing how I still manage to love IO 2.0 after all of this. After all it's one of the best and first project I'll publish on Game Dolt. It also may be Inverted Quacker's first game in 3D and a good one at that [Not better than Phokey's tho ;) ]. I hope you guys have the same good feelings I have for IO. I really want you guys to love IO like I have did. IO will have a special place in my heart once it's done. A very very special place. <3 IO forever :'] .


So yeah that what has been going on for IO 2.0. A lot of rises and falls. A bunch of ups and downs. A lot of things. I hope these things don't interfere with IO greatly. Welp that's I have for IO news everyone. I'll most likely do a help wanted post for IO soon so keep your eyes peeled if you want to be a part of this massive project. I'll update this post once it has been made. Welp my update is now over. Bye everyone! See you maties soon one day!

I really gotten invested in FNaF around the time FNaF 2 was teased. I remember being so excited seeing that teaser those 10 years ago. It's a shame I'll never get those times back.
