Why I joined GameJolt.

So, I have noticed there is a lot more... ehhh... "drama" on GameJolt, to put it nicely. I have even been involved with my own drama on here. But I may as well tell you guys why I am on GameJolt, because it seems some people on here are just on here to be "famous". I am not going to name names in this post, as I don't want to cause more drama than there already is, and I am sure @CROS , @thoro , @nik , @nilllzz , @KniteBlargh , and @YLivay are having a hard enough time trying to keep up with everything going on.

So, with that rant over, let me move on to why I joined GameJolt.

Why I Joined GameJolt

That is a question, indeed. Did I join for fame? No. Did I join for the FNaF fan-games that are everywhere on this site? No. Did I join because of the community? No. I joined on my own accord, because I wanted to share my games with people. I don't do it for the fame, or for the "drama". I do it to have fun, like most indie devs. Now, I am sure there are people on here that joined GameJolt just to cause drama, I don't doubt that, but there are many more who just want to join to have fun with making games and playing games. In my opinion, these social media features habe made it much harder for me to just enjoy making games, even when I make everything on my free time, and put it up for free, for anyone to enjoy. But while I think it has that downside, I also think it has many more upsides with it than the downsides. And while I don't want to cause drama, this post is more than likely going to cause some.

I have been putting off making this post mutiple times because of the STUPID drama that this site has. All I want to do is make games for people to enjoy, and I think it is a lot harder for people to find people who actually care about the stuff they make. And while I sit here writing this, I am still getting notifications about drama. I don't follow many people, because I don't feel inclined to follow people anymore. Sure I may follow someone here and there, but I don't follow people just because they follow me. I don't like having a cluttered home page, and yet, it still gets cluttered, and fast.

I am not going to quit GameJolt. This post has one purpose. That purpose, is to tell you how I feel about recent events. I put a lot of my free time into making stuff for people to enjoy. While, I admit, they aren't the games in the world, not by a long shot, I still enjoy making stuff FOR people, even if it is just for a friend.

And again, I don't want to generate drama with this post. That is the last thing I want. But let's be fair, no-one can have an opinion on the internet anymore. For example; if I were to make a post about an unpopular opinion that I had, more than likely, it will cause a lot of people to get upset, for NO REASON. I hate it when this happens.

Please, just stop the drama. I don't think anyone here deserves to be banned because they start drama, but if it comes to that, the GameJolt staff can do that.

Now my post is coming to an end. I know this is a bit more of a... "serious" and "controversial" post than I normally make, but I just needed to let out how I am feeling. I hope you all understand.
