Loading...My gloves used in my armor were these. Work gloves with a printed shell. One palm an ordinary light ring, the other a transplant from a motion activated toy.

EL wire or electroluminescent wire is used to accent the thin slats the peak through the back plate. This gives it a great futuristic effect. They require an AC converter and a bit of messing with to wire into your relays.

Be ready to work in layers.

Iron Man cosplay armor gloves are the hardest part to scale. Be ready to spend time on these. You may make several sets before you are happy.

I started to just make the gloves that came with the suit but mine weren’t comfortable. I found a video Frank had explaining the palms he uses. https://youtu.be/wmahlhs6iQU I tried my hand at smoothing them in Blender first without moving any edge vertices.

Forearms are pretty straight forward. The lights you see are EL wire, I’ll use them much more later in the suit. They are AC powered which adds some fun to your wire harness.

My Iron Man Cosplay Armor Upper Body Test

Learn from my mistakes. I finished the Mk 45 helm first. I should have waited so the paints were better matched. I had to revisit the clear of the helm because I didn’t wait.
