Indie video game developer.

I make games of all genres, lately messing with 3D ones. I have a personal challenge for every game I make to be unique and creative, with its own gameplay and style. Let me know how I'm doing on Twitter.

I've been working on my own video game programming language called `avdl`, to help me on my adventures.

Rue v1.5.3 is out!

After spending a bit of time creating some basic translation, Rue is now available on the following languages:

* German

* Japanese

This is just an initial translation, most likely will need some more polish later on.

This is a new game I've been working on.

Physics made from scratch, crochet cats, and adventuring to the unknown. What else would a game need?

Rue v1.4.1 is out!

* Greek language is now added. On Android/Quest2 it is auto-detected, but on Linux/Windows you need to pass the `--locale el` flag on the executable.

* Added icons to show what resources the special effects use.

Testing adding #ttf fonts on Rue.

Implementing the #freetype library has been a fun challenge.

It works on #linux , #windows and #android , only #Quest2 left to go 😁

Rue `v1.2.1`:

* Improved loading speeds
* Fix a bug with audio on Android and Quest 2
* Minor bug fixing

Release version 1.2.1 is out:

* Added a VR for the Quest 2.
* Improved loading of assets
* Better perspective on Android in Portrait mode.
* Rotating the screen on Android is now much smoother.
* Improved font for displaying info.

My progress porting my game Rue to #VirtualReality . I'm currently aiming for the #MetaQuest2 .

Development has been really fun! I've managed to use the Meta Native MobileXR SDK, and smoothly combine it with my project.

#vr #c #cpp

I started development on the #MetaQuest2 . It's so much fun!

I decided to make a prototype using the Quest's Native libraries, and managed to draw meshes and textures using #c and #cpp .

It's using #OpenGL and will be #opensource when finished.

I got myself a #MetaQuest2 .

it's a VERY impressive device. Tracking is very accurate and can be used as a standalone platform.

I'm looking forward to the future of Virtual Reality.

Maybe this will convince me to port my games to it 😁
