Today I decided to start designing the portal. On the other hand, I wanted to shy away from commonplace ideas. Here is a raw sketch of visual solutions. The animation is made up of keyframes, so hopefully it can be easily imported into Unity Engine.

Animation made in blender to be used as a cutscene in my main game Parkour, it took a long time, almost a week to animate and about 3 days to render.

But the result was worth it!
