After almost 1 month in silence... This new build is finally done!
So much stuff was added and completelly rewritten... (that level select screen is the reason for this burn out!)
Anyways, I just added more in-game cutscenes! Here's one right here!



Some new sprites (and Dragon for comparison). An Agama and Gator; they'll all be residents you can find in Dragon Village alongside the Dragons and Raptors
Gator will also be present in the Water Caverns

So, the plan for the game just got finished, which means now we can concentrate on the graphics and music
Meanwhile, have this silly Genesideling







Save data + level completion/unlocking
Today I did a huge breakthrough! Not only you can now properly unlock new levels after beating the previous ones... but also your progress can be saved! And it's automatic!
The game saves after you complete a level.


Menus and sub-menus!
Added menu navigation! You can now either continue the game from your last "checkpoint", or just go to the level selection screen and play a level freely, and then the other essential buttons.


Lots of progress made!
Started working on the first cutscene (still very W.I.P) of the game, and almost finished the 2 first levels.
I'll release a stable Demo of this game in no time! But then finishing the rest of the game will take a big while...

You guys aren't ready to hear what we have in plans for the game, so instead of teasers you can have Geneside doing a JoJo pose
















Also, wanted to recommend ya guys a useful website that converts any images to styles of various retro consoles, including Gameboy. The website is called "Ditherton", and it's very easy to use.

Changed the File Select menu to be closer to the OG and added background objects for Rotten Hills


Forgot to show off the cake themed level with its final tileset!
Before the long development pause from months ago, I still managed to finish 2 sections of this level, but didn't got to show it...
This level will be fully remade anyways, it's too messy!
