the opening entry is evidently life and suffering of desp nightee, setting basic things up for other things to come. it's a messy story, it's an incomprehensible story, the narrator is damn unreliable, and yet... it's the best thing we have at the moment, so why not take a look at it and perhaps even reason something true out of it?
