AVARIS

Avaris is an Indie Project developed by Jawii "the Ai", Avaris is a Deltarune-like RPG that focuses on 10 main characters, each with a different personality and the story. The main game will be Split into Acts, Each one released at a different date. Consider supporting us! The story takes place in a mysterious, or not-so-mysterious world for the characters. The main characters, Called the Avaris- live together in a tower, away from the main city, there, 4 major (or not-so-major) places can be seen: The OVERGARDEN, The VOLCANOA, The SHROOMISTS And The SEA. (why did they name it like that? they could be more creative!) The central Avaris tower is surrounded by a garden which #5 takes care of! He keeps it clean, and beautiful! Near the VOLCANOA is the PRISM PALACE, which functions as a prison for dangerous things. In the central city, there are some stores, a New Sport called CATBOXX (Luckily, no cats are hurt :D) and a few stands. What's so special about avaris?

The battle system is based on undertale, but I'm not aiming for a complete steal- since avaris is meant to be another game: not a fangame or a mod.
Here are some things that make avaris unique:

- Group efforts

Group efforts are special attacks or ACTs depending on who does it with whom.
It can range from making max-healing sweets to riding over the enemy with a drawn tank.

Enemy Ai's

each enemy gets their own ai, it's not about the attacks, it can variate from: "Ohh no he maxed his attack" to "WHY DOES HE KEEP HEALING"
We are aiming for not easy but not too difficult battles, so the player and the enemies are even (mostly.)
There will be a part that will be a major skill check for players, as 3 enemies will be even to your party.
As for healing: lucky you, they don't heal forever. They are set with a number of "items" that heal them so at a point they will lose their healing items and get the panic effect.

Avaris was an idea in my mind for a long time, and one day, I decided to gather all my motivation and determination, and well after 3-4 months... here I am!
