I recently decided I would refurbish an old game I made called "Permafrost", and this concept is the result. Fight through a world in which fire and ice are in an unending conflict...could you put an end to it, once and for all?
Game features:
Able to play as two different characters: Yuki from the ice kingdom, and Fumie from the fire kingdom. Both with their own unique mechanics and abilities.
A soundtrack with DnB tracks for Yuki, and metal/rock tracks for Fumie
If I am able to get it working, the game will have an open world, with zero restrictions on where to go. Players would be able to freely explore both kingdoms, able to switch between both playable characters at will...somehow.
An arcade version will be developed first, where you can only play levels, and with no true story to it. After the completion of this version, the full version can be developed.
This game is currently being developed in the Godot engine, however I will be switching to Redot as soon as it comes out.
