Factory Wars
Factory Wars is a 2D strategy game.

You play as a resistance leader attempting to put a stop to an evil coorporation that has taken over most of the world using robots.

Using a hijacked factory, you must build your own robots and take over more factories to put an end to their reign.

Why I built this game
This is a game that I had built for my college course and had to meet the criteria of a platformer.
I didnt want to make a sidescrolling platformer like mario so i threw in another genre to mix the gameplay up a bit.

I don't think the game idea is great and i think the controls are too finicky but over all i am proud of what i built here as its the first game that includes graphics I put time into and also challenged me to build my first 2D AI.

Overall i think if I were to make the game play a bit faster and made the gameplay smoother i think the game could be quite fun to play, but for now anyways, this is the final build of the game released as version 1.0.0, and i wont be doing anything else with the game or the idea unless I really feel like it.
