Wheeljack had recently created a machine called the dimensionizer a device that can travel to different dimensions and/or universes which he found a dimension where the dinobots were originally animatronics and so thought to fund research for his project he donated three of the dinobots Grimlock, Slug/Slag, and Swoop to the city and that 10% of the money earned would go to him and this is where your story begins at least you think it is.
