What do you think?

I like the idea: a magician robot - it's super cool - and the game definitely looks pretty promising. Altough the reloading music and the respawning enemies are really annoying. By the way I stuck after I've found the wall breaking spell. It seems in every way I need a double jump to progress - or something like that. Am I missing something?

The jam version is short and have less content than I've planned

This is my entry for DreamHack Summer Jam 2019 whose theme : Magic vs Science. The game is metroidvania inspired by Super Metroid, Contra, Lyle in Cube Sector and Castlevania .

Story:

You are a robo magi, robot who have learned magic. Great as it sounds, other robots don't like you and you must escape. Explore the base to find orbs which grants new spell to access more areas. Beware! it won't be easy!
Run n gun your way to your freedom!

Information:

Jam version is the original version of DreamHack Summer Jam 2019. Post Jam version 1 is the updated version with more features and released for DreamHack Jungle Jam 2020

Mild Cartoon Violence

Just created Electrified Platform. Obviously it's a trap but Dukuro can neutralize this platform with proper spell.

Magito and Dukuro will go through different paths and will face different bosses.

One of the bosses likes tossing high power bombs to kill Dukuro.

Since Area B has secret path, Area E should have its own secret path too. And here are two shots from it.

Wait, that's supposed to be secret.... oh well, at least they don't show where to find it.

New stuffs for upgrade:

1. New background layer for certain rooms.

2. New sprite for Dukuro's ice spell, Ice Kujang.

3. New shot type for enemies, damages MP instead of HP.

4. New body possibility for certain enemies.

While working on levels, I decided to add some FXs to traps' death. Wooden traps and electric rods will shoot smokes when destroyed.

Expansion continues! After redesigning some rooms, barriers and switches are added in as part of puzzle of Area F. Here are some shots from new rooms:

I decided to redesign Area F to open branch to more rooms and to set puzzle. Because of that some rooms must be changed and new rooms must be constructed. Here are some shots from those rooms.
