How were you able to do the lighting for the flashlight? The game looks really nice but the bullets don't do enough damage. To make its scarier you should be able to run a little bit faster away from the beast, but there should be more of them.
I really like this keep it up

Nova (GameMaker Version)
Hello fellow players this is the GameMaker version of Nova. This version will no longer be updated, However feel free to download and play. i shall keep this up and available :) - Side note: Hit the "R" key if you want to restart while in-game :P
(This version's Game Objective: Kill all the creatures to unlock the exit)
Hello and Welcome to Nova
The objective:
You have 2 minutes to kill as many creatures as you can
The timer is your health, be careful if you get hit by the creature's bullet
your timer decreases.
Controls:
WASD - Move
Left Mouse button - Fire/Select
Moving the mouse = Rotate
R key - Reload weapon
ESC key - Pause in-game
Credits are on the README.txt file in the folder
