What do you think?

I’m sorry if I’m being mean, especially since you just won a pretty major game jam, but I felt like I needed to ask: are the images AI generated? They feel like they are, at least to me. I tend to get suspicious about this kinda thing. I just wanted to make sure. Thanks, and congrats on your big win!

How'd you do that in 7 days??

7 days wow

This is the exact version of the gameJam but I only removed the source .rpy files which I included by mistake in the competition version! That should be enabled by default when exporting a renpy game!

The Bunker 0.1Alpha Mac Version

Version: 0.1.0about 1 month ago
Package for Mac Computers

You have six survivors crammed into a single bunker. They will face dark nights of waiting before any rescue shows up.

Each day forces one really tough decision on them. Who gets something to eat. Who receives any kind of treatment. Who ends up dying that time.

Right outside the door, a child keeps knocking night after night. That voice shifts in strange ways every single evening. It barely comes across as human these days.

Players need to deal with hunger and biting cold, along with health problems and dropping morale while all hope starts to slip away.

Certain choices leave a permanent mark on the soul that never really fades.

Survival without picking up any scars along the way seems pretty unlikely.

Mild Cartoon Violence

The game has changed so much since the competition that it looks like a different game. There are so many new options and features....

Creating a highly narrative experience is really tough. We have created a graph to see all the interconections between the different conversations and paths you can have. Flags, dependencies and alternative narrations can be seen here!!

This is our own conversations editor. With this we can test all the conversations in The Bunker, and edit them online, create multiple threads and branching in the different stories that will happen during the game and set character's sprite.

The migration of the game to Gamemaker is on Fire!!! Most of the main mechanics have already been ported, and a lot of new features are being added in the next months. We're building the real narrative experience we had in mind.

Due to the limitations in Renpy for deep mechanics with popups or events, we're thinking on migrating the game before building the rest of changes to ge for a final version with more mechanics and events.

What do you suggest? Gamemaker? Godot? Other?
