Hey there, samchanda. I just played through pathways and I think this game has potential to be something great. Before, I'd like to point out some bugs I found. First, the person in the snow bunker that gives you the packages gives you infinite packages if you continue to talk to him. Even after handing in the packages I never stopped getting this bug. Other than that, I did not find anymore bugs.
Let's start with my least favorite door so far, the desert door. I like the desert cati enemies but the town itself felt kind of lifeless, and none of the characters or story had any meaningful conclusion - there's mystery but never solved and it just... ends. I'm sure the story will get better as the game is developed. Next! the snow area, the better one. Here, I enjoyed listening to the backstory of McGee, the bunker has more stuff to do, more quests, and the training ground is a great addition! And the ending felt more exciting with the cliffhanger, even if the game is still in prototype phase. You could improve the map in this area by having sign above each door to tell which room number it is. It would be a lot more coinvent than having to go up to each individual door just to find out.
I don't know what your plans are but I think you should focus on one area at a time. If you're looking to get more followers, I think you should try to build up each location; getting people hyped for each update could work in getting more activity. Anyway, good luck on your future endevours and take care!
review: (snow door area)
this was a neat little adventure though after you hear McGee's story and receive some stuff, if you enter that room again you can do that repeatedly and every time you go in, you get the same stuff and can't continue no matter how much you train.
speaking of the "Training" system, l like it! I will prob add something similar in my game Lucid.
in terms of improvements, spelling and maps are the main issues I find most often.

FINAL WEEK: The battle music for an upcoming boss..
Well, it was pretty fun to take over the page for a bit, though I'm really tired after drawing all of those comics...
Also, shoutout to @NineSoulsSea your comments kept me going, so thanks!
