Great game. Really difficult and entertaining. Graphics were pretty nice, music/sounds were good, and the controls were really smooth. Also, I like how your POV raised and lowered when you went on those ramps. Really cool addition. The powerups and variation of enemies made it seem much more re-playable. Seemed very well polished and made. Good job. 4/5
i found this pretty funny. reminds me of spiral knights.
You should consider some more stuff, i mean different stuff.
Age of Thorn is a top-down dungeon crawler inspired by the likes of Gauntlet and to a lesser degree, Contra. The player must blast their way past countless enemies and obstacles, fighting their way into deeper unknown worlds. In addition to pure combat bliss, the game features light puzzles to break up the action. Age of Thorn channels the difficulty of old-school NES-games, back when games were actually hard. Rather than coddle the player within the comforts of an xp-system, RPG elements have been kept to a minimum. Skill and skill alone is your only solace as the game progresses
